Scars are largely made up of \"repair\" collagen.\n\nThere are different scars, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Atrophic (sunken) scars&nbsp;<\/li><li>Hypertrophic scars<\/li><li>Keloids<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although scars cannot be 100% eliminated, they can be reduced with different techniques.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hypertrophic and keloid scars can be treated with an innovative technique that involves the application of specific enzymes, including collagenase. The collagenase \"destroys\" the collagen in the scar and the body begins to produce good quality new collagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Atrophic scars have a different management and deal with them with mesotherapy, microneedles, laser, etc.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La cicatriz es un tejido que aparece en el proceso de reparaci\u00f3n de una herida.
